Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of
Hodges River, WS-S-0779
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act, I designate the area generally known as the Hodges River Water Supply Area, WS-S-0779, for the Town of Whitbourne as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Harbour Main - Whitbourne abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 310 170 metres and northing 5 254 573 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 148 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 310 208 metres and northing 5 254 716 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 694 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 310 830 metres and northing 5 255 024 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 681 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 311 139 metres and northing 5 255 631 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 974 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 311 129 metres and northing 5 256 605 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 942 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 311 589 metres and northing 5 257 427 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 765 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 311 912 metres and northing 5 258 121 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 605 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 312 340 metres and northing 5 258 548 metres;

All coordinates refer Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Hodges River, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 601/96, is repealed.
