Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order,
Labrador, 2004-2005 (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 38, 92 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

        1. Subsection 4(1) of the Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order, Labrador, 2004-2005 is repealed and the following substituted:

Open season

        4. (1) There shall be an open season in the following zones during the dates specified:

Seal Lake Zone

November 24, 2004 - April 30, 2005

Michikimau East Zone

December 15, 2004 - April 30, 2005

Orma North Zone

November 16, 2004 - April 30, 2005

Orma South Zone

November 20, 2004 - April 30, 2005

Twin Falls Zone

December 30, 2004 - April 30, 2005

George River Zone

August 10, 2004 - April 30, 2005

Torngat Mountain Zone

August 10, 2004 - April 30, 2005

 

        2. Section 5 of the Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Closed season

        5. There shall be a closed season in the following zones:

             (a)  Big River Zone;

             (b)  Double Mer Barrens Zone;

             (c)  Lac Virot Zone;

             (d)  Sawbill Lake Zone;

             (e)  Bay of Islands Zone;

              (f)  Colville Lake Zone;

             (g)  Grand Lake Zone;

             (h)  McPhayden River Zone;

              (i)  Michikimau West Zone;

              (j)  Milner Lake Zone;

             (k)  Mulligan River Zone; and

              (l)  Nipishish Lake Zone.
