Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Lee’s Pond
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act, I designate the area generally known as the Lee’s Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0857 for the Town of Avondale as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Harbour Main – Whitbourne abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334 645 metres and northing 5 253 591 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 500 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 335 039 metres and northing 5 253 283 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 760 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 335 199 metres and northing 5 252 540 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 944 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334 915 metres and northing 5 251 640 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 757 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334 540 metres and northing 5 250 982 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1924 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333 013 metres and northing 5 249 811 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 2467 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331 299 metres and northing 5 248 036 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 653 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting  331 308 metres and northing 5 248 689 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 710 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331 587 metres and northing 5 249 342 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 400 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331 610 metres and northing 5 249 741 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 236 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331 687 metres and northing 5 249 964 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 275 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 331 565 metres and northing 5 250 211 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 936 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting  332 346 metres and northing 5 250 727 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 517 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 332 722 metres and northing 5 251 082 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 302 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 332 883 metres and northing 5 251 338 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 1021 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333 634 metres and northing 5 252 029 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 463 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 333 847 metres and northing 5 252 440 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 688 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334 112 metres and northing 5 253 075 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 201 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 334 177 metres and northing 5 253 265 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 524 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.
