St.
Lawrence Municipal Planning Area, 2006 (Filed Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000, I define the following area as a municipal planning area. Dated at Jack Byrne PLANNING AREA Beginning at a
point on the highwater mark of the western shoreline of Little St. Lawrence
Harbour, at the western abutment of a bridge on Highway Route 220; Then in a southerly
direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to the southernmost point of
land lying between Little St. Lawrence Harbour and Great St. Lawrence Harbour, that
point being Middle Point; Then in a northerly
direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Great St. Lawrence Harbour,
to a point at the mouth of an unnamed brook flowing into Herring Cove; Then in a
southwesterly direction crossing the waters of Great St. Lawrence Harbour to a
point on the highwater mark of the easternmost extremity of Blue Beach Point; Then in a southerly
direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Great St. Lawrence Harbour
to the southernmost point of land on the western side of Great St. Lawrence
Harbour, that point being Cape Chapeau Rouge; Then in a general
westerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline passing Deadmans
Cove, Red Cliffs, Chambers Point, to Lawn Head; Then in a general
northerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Lawn Bay and
Little Lawn Harbour passing Seal Gulch, Little Lawn Point to the northern
extremities of Murphys Cove; Then along the
western shoreline of Little Lawn Harbour to a point at the mouth of an unnamed
brook flowing into Three Sticks Cove; Then in a northeasterly
direction along the eastern bank of that brook 2285 metres, more or less, to
the southernmost extremity of an unnamed pond; Then in a northerly
direction along the eastern shoreline of that pond to the northernmost
extremity of that pond; Then north 6° 7' 0" east, 3605 metres, more or less, to
a Then north 3° 13' 24" west, 1585 metres, more or less,
to the easternmost extremity of a small unnamed pond; Then south 67° 59' 17" east, 1520 metres, more or less,
to a high point, Loughins Hill; Then south 68° 19' 21" east, 2457 metres, more or less,
to a point; Then north 33° 50' 56" east a distance of 4258 metres,
more or less, to the summit of Tilt Hill; Then north 24° 16' 10" east a distance of 3800 metres,
more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then north 48° 19' 1" east a distance of 2981 metres,
more or less, to the summit of an unnamed hill; Then south 74° 13' 54" east a distance of 9043 metres,
more or less, to the summit of Salmonier Hill; Then south 13° 43' 51" west a distance of 15864 metres,
more or less, to the highwater mark of Placentia Bay and being north 12° 16' 17" east of the most eastern point of
Sauker Head: Then in a general
westerly direction along the shoreline at the highwater mark passing Sauker
Head, Middle Bight Cove to a point on the western shoreline of Little St.
Lawrence Harbour, at the western abutment of a bridge on Highway Route 220 the
point of beginning. All bearings refer to
Grid North and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated
on the 1:50000 National Topographic (Digital) Mapping. The St.
