Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
of Meaterís Pond, WS-S-0454,
Town of Meadows and Town of Gilliams

under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act, I designate the area generally known as the Meaterís Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0454, for the Town of Meadows and the Town of Gilliams as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Bay of Islands abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 424 230 metres and northing 5 427 987 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 453 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting423 908 metres and northing 5 428 305 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 419 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting423 869 metres and northing 5 428 722 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 286 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 093 metres and northing 5 428 900 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 257 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 300 metres and northing 5 428 747 metres;

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 341 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 639 metres and northing 5 428 715 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 490 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 325 metres and northing 5 429 091 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 301 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 025 metres and northing 5 429 116 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 379 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting423 774 metres and northing 5 429 400 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 202 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting423 888 metres and northing 5 429 567 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 213 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting425 736 metres and northing 5 429 542 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 308 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting425 823 metres and northing 5 429 247 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 269 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting425 036 metres and northing 5 427 261 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 627 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting424 453 metres and northing 5 427 491 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 273 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 424 423 metres and northing 5 427 762 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 296 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All coordinates refer Zone 21 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Meaters Pond, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 649/96, is repealed.
