Highway Traffic Driver Regulations, 1999 (Amendment) (Filed Under the authority of section 186 of the Highway Traffic Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations. Dated at Robert C. Thompson REGULATIONS Analysis 1.

S.20 Amdt. NLR 110/98 1. Paragraph 3(2)(d) of the Highway Traffic Driver Regulations, 1999 is repealed and the following substituted: (d) class 4 driver's licence which shall permit the holder to operate (i) taxis, ambulances and buses which carry not more than 24 passengers, and (ii) passenger vehicles designed to carry 6 or fewer passengers in addition to the driver, under a contract with a school board to carry school children to and from school and school related activities and may, on that class 4 licence, indicate other classes of driver's licence as shown by the endorsements of the registrar; 2. Section 20 of the regulations is amended by renumbering it as subsection 20(1) and by adding immediately after that subsection the following: (2) Where a person pays the prescribed fee for the renewal of a driver's licence at the bank, that driver's licence shall be considered to be valid for 40 days from the date of payment of that fee. ©Earl G.
