Heating Oil Storage Tank System Regulations, 2003 (Amendment)

Under the authority of section 111 of the Environmental Protection Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Subsection 4(2) of the Heating Oil Storage Tank Regulations, 2003 is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) This section shall come into force on April 1, 2009.

2. Subsection 6(1) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

6. (1) On or before March 31, 2009, the owner of an existing system shall register the system.

3. Paragraph 13(1)(b) of the regulations is amended by deleting the phrase "after April 1, 2007" and by substituting the phrase "on or after April 1, 2009".

4. Subsection 16(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the date "March 31, 2007" and by substituting the date "March 31, 2009".

Commencement

5. These regulations shall come into force on March 31, 2007.
