Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order, Labrador, 2005-2006 (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 38, 92, and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

        1. Subsection 4(1) of the Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order, Labrador, 2005-2006 is repealed and the following substituted:

Open season

        4. (1) There shall be an open season in the following zones during the dates specified:

 

Grand Lake Zone	December 11, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Seal Lake Zone	November 15, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Michikimau East Zone	December 4, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Orma North Zone	November 20, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Orma South Zone	November 28, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Twin Falls Zone	December 7, 2006 - April 30, 2007
George River Zone	August 10, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Colville Lake Zone	December 13, 2006- April 30, 2007
Mickikamau West Zone	December 13, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Nipishish Lake Zone	November 27, 2006 - April 30, 2007
Bay of Islands Zone	November 22, 2006-April 30, 2007

 

        2. Section 5 of the Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Closed season

        5. There shall be a closed season in the following zones:

             (a)  Big River Zone'

             (b)  Double Mer Barrens Zone;

             (c)  Lac Virot Zone;

             (d)  Sawbill Lake Zone;

             (e)  McPhayden River Zone;

              (f)  Milner Lake Zone; and

             (g)  Mulligan River Zone.
