Judicial Centres of Corner Brook, Grand Falls-Windsor, Grand Bank, Gander and St. John's Jury List Boundary Variation Order
under the
Jury Act, 1991

Under the authority of section 11 of the Jury Act, 1991, I make the following Order.

        3.   Judicial centre of Grand Falls-Windsor jury list boundary varied

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Judicial Centres of Corner Brook, Grand Falls-Windsor, Grand Bank, Gander and St. John's Jury List Boundary Variation Order.

Judicial centre of Corner Brook jury list boundary varied

        2. For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial centre of Corner Brook, the jury list shall be complied, in addition to those eligible persons living within 25 kilometres of the judicial centre of Corner Brook, so as to include all those eligible persons living in

             (a)  Lark Harbour;

             (b)  Pasadena;

             (c)  York Harbour;

             (d)  Hughes Brook; and

             (e)  Humber Village

who live outside the 25 kilometre radius of the judicial centre.

Judicial centre of Grand Falls-Windsor jury list boundary varied

        3. For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial centre of Grand Falls-Windsor, the jury list shall be complied, in addition to those eligible persons living within 25 kilometres of the judicial centre of Grand Falls-Windsor, so as to include all those eligible persons living in

             (a)  Badger;

             (b)  Botwood;

             (c)  Peterview;

             (d)  Wooddale;

             (e)  Northern Arm; and

              (f)  Norris Arm

who live outside the 25 kilometre radius of the judicial centre.

Judicial centre of Grand Bank jury list boundary varied

        4. For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial centre of Grand Bank, the jury list shall be complied, in addition to those eligible persons living within 25 kilometres of the judicial centre of Grand Bank, so as to include all those eligible persons living in

             (a)  Garnish;

             (b)  Marystown;

             (c)  Lewins' Cove;

             (d)  Burin;

             (e)  St.Lawrence;

              (f)  Frenchman's Cove;

             (g)  Grand Beach;

             (h)  Lories;

              (i)  Point May;

              (j)  Lamaline;

             (k)  Taylor's Bay;

              (l)  Point au Gaul;

            (m)  Lord's Cove;

             (n)  Little St. Lawrence;

             (o)  Epworth-Great Salmonier;

             (p)  Fox Cove- Mortier;

             (q)  Winterland;

              (r)  Beau Bois;

             (s)  Spanish Room;

              (t)  Rock Harbour; and

             (u)  Jean de Baie

who live outside the 25 kilometre radius of the judicial centre.

Judicial centre of Gander jury list boundary  varied

        5. For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial centre of Gander, the jury list shall be complied, in addition to those eligible persons living within 25 kilometres of the judicial centre of Gander, so as to include all those eligible persons living in Gambo who live outside the 25 kilometre radius of the judicial centre.

Judicial centre of St. John's jury list boundary varied

        6. (1) For the purpose of compiling a jury list for the judicial centre of St. John's under section 11 of the Jury Act, 1991 , the geographic radius outlined in subsection 11(1) of the Act shall not apply.

             (2)  The jury list for trials to be held in the Trial Division sitting at the judicial centre of St. John's shall be drawn so as to include all those eligible persons who reside within the boundaries of the following areas only:

             (a)  the City of St. John's as described in the City of St. John's Boundary Order, 1998;

             (b)  the City of Mount Pearl as described in Schedule A of the City of Mount Pearl Act;

             (c)  Bauline;

             (d)  Bay Bulls;

             (e)  Conception Bay South;

              (f)  Flatrock;

             (g)  Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove;

             (h)  Paradise;

              (i)  Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove;

              (j)  Portugal Cove- St. Philips;

             (k)  Pouch Cove;

              (l)  Torbay;

            (m)  Wabana;

             (n)  Witless Bay;

             (o)  Freshwater;

             (p)  Lance Cove; and

             (q)  Holyrood.

Repeal

        7. The Jurors List Boundaries Variation Order, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 780/96, is repealed.
