Wild Life Regulations (Amendment)
(Filed Under the authority of section 7 of the Wild Life Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations. Dated at Gary Norris REGULATIONS Analysis 1.
S.14 Amdt. CNLR 1156/96 1. Subsection 14(4) of the Wild Life Regulations is repealed and the following substituted: (4) Notwithstanding subsection (3), (a) the hunting, taking and killing of furbearing animals by means of firearms is permitted in the Labrador portion of the province; and (b) the hunting, taking and killing of coyote, fox and lynx, by the holder of a trapper's licence using a center-fire rifle not greater than .225 calibre or a shotgun using shot size 2 or larger is permitted on the Island portion of the province. ©Earl G.
