Local Service District of Random Sound West, 2010
under the
Municipalities Act, 1999

Under the authority of sections 387 and 390 of the Municipalities Act, 1999, I make the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis


        1.    Amalgamation

        2.   Local service district continued

        3.   Local service district committee continued

        4.   Boundaries

        5.   Repeal


 Amalgamation

        1. The Local Service District of North West Brook-Ivany's Cove and the Local Service District of Queen's Cove are amalgamated with the Local Service District of Random Sound West, in the electoral district of Trinity North.

Local service district continued

        2. The Local Service District of Random Sound West is continued as a local service district.

Local service district committee continued

        3. The Local Service District Committee of Random Sound West is continued as a local service district committee.

Boundaries

        4. The boundaries of the Local Service District of Random Sound West shall be the area comprising the following communities:

             (a)  Hillview;

             (b)  Adeytown;

             (c)  Hatchet Cove;

             (d)  St. Jones Within;

             (e)  North West Brook;

              (f)  Ivany's Cove; and

             (g)  Queen's Cove.

Repeal

        5. The following orders are repealed:

             (a)  Local Service District of Queen's Cove, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 380/96;

             (b)  Local Service District of North West Brook - Ivany's Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 51/99; and

             (c)  Local Service District of Random Sound West, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 31/09.
