Happy
Adventure Municipal Planning Area, 2013 (Filed January 29, 2013) Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000 I define the following area as the Happy Adventure Municipal Planning Area. Dated at Kevin O'Brien PLANNING AREA Beginning at point on
the shoreline of North Broad Cove in an area known as The Bottom, that point being
430 metres, more or less, northeastwardly of the brook flowing from North Broad
Cove Pond, and the northeast corner of the Terra Nova National Park boundary; Then following the Then due east a
distance of 35 metres, more or less, to the most easterly point of the Goose
Neck Pond protected water supply boundary; Then in a generally
northeasterly direction along the Goose Neck Pond protected water supply
boundary to where the Goose Neck Pond protected water supply boundary crosses
the Happy Adventure municipal boundary; Then north 5° 16' east
a distance of 268 metres, more or less, to the most northwesterly point on the
Happy Adventure municipal boundary; Then following the
Happy Adventure municipal boundary to a point on the northern shoreline of
Newman Sound, that point being the most southwesterly point on the Sandy Cove
municipal boundary; Then following along
the sinuosities of the northern shoreline of Newman Sound in a generally
westerly direction, via Bottom Cove and North Broad Cove, to the point of
beginning. All bearings refer to
Grid North and, as with distances given, are subject to approximation as
delineated on the 1:50000 National Topographical Series (NTS) digital mapping;
UTM, NAD 83. The
