Endangered Species List Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Endangered Species Act
(O.C. 2016-081)

Under the authority of sections 7 and 44 of the Endangered Species Act, the Minister of Environment and Conservation, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following regulations.

as amended

        1. Schedule A of the Endangered Species List Regulations is amended by

             (a)  adding immediately after the species "Feathery False Solomon's Seal - Maianthemum racemosum subsp. racemosum" the species "Fernald's Braya - Braya fernaldii";

             (b)  adding immediately after the species "Mackenzie's Sweetvetch - Hedysarum boreale subsp. mackenzii" the species "Mountain Bladder Fern (Island of Newfoundland Population) - Cystopteris montana"; and

             (c)  adding immediately after the species "Northern Bog Aster - Symphyotrichum boreale" the species "Northern Twayblade - Listera borealis".

 

        2. Schedule B of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the words "Newfoundland Population" wherever they occur and substituting the words "Island of Newfoundland Population"; and

             (b)  deleting the species "Fernald's Braya - Braya fernaldii".
