Designated Mobility Impaired Parking Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Highway Traffic Act
(O.C. 2017-325)

Under the authority of section 187 of the Highway Traffic Act, the Minister, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following regulations.

        1. Section 7.1 of the Designated Mobility Impaired Parking Regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

Penalty

      7.1 A person who contravenes a provision of these regulations is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to

             (a)  a fine of not less than $400 and not more than $700; and

             (b)  in default of payment of a fine, imprisonment for not less than 2 days and not more than 10 days.

Commencement

        2. These regulations come into force 2 months after their publication in the Gazette.
