Medical Care Insurance Insured Services Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Medical Care and Hospital Insurance Act

Under the authority of section 47 of the Medical Care and Hospital Insurance Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Paragraph 3(a) of the Medical Care Insurance Insured Services Regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

(a) all services properly and adequately provided by physicians to beneficiaries who are suffering from an illness requiring medical treatment or advice, including services provided by telephone if the treatment or advice is of a type specified in the fee schedule;

2. Paragraph 4(1)(a) of the regulations is repealed.
