Angling and Tag Use Order, 2018 (Filed June 4, 2018) Under the authority of sections 3.2 and 4.1 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following regulations. This Order may be cited as the Salmon Angling and Tag Use Order, 2018. Limits 2. (1) On
or before July 20, 2018 the limit for the hooking and retention of salmon on rivers
designated as Class 2 rivers under the Newfoundland
and Labrador Fishery Regulations ( (2) On or before July 20, 2018 the limit for the hooking and releasing of salmon on the following rivers is 10 salmon: (a) rivers designated as Class 0 or Class 2 under
the Newfoundland and Labrador Fishery
Regulations ( (b) rivers not listed in Schedule I of the Newfoundland and Labrador Fishery Regulations
( Non-application 3. Section
2 does not apply to angling under the authority of a licence issued under the Aboriginal Communal Fishing Licences Regulations
( Tags - class 2 rivers 4. Salmon retained by angling on rivers designated as Class 2 rivers
under the Newfoundland and Labrador
Fishery Regulations ( Conditions on tag use 5. When a person affixes a tag referred to in this Order to a salmon, the person shall immediately cut out and remove the month and day of capture on the tag. Repeal 6. The
Salmon Angling and Tag Use Order,
