Agricultural Land Reserve Order (Amendment)
under the
Lands Act

Under the authority of subsection 8(2) of the Lands Act, the minister, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following Order.

        1. The Schedule to the Agricultural Land Reserve Order is amended by adding immediately after the description for Area 43 the following:

Area 44

All that piece or parcel of land situated near St. Fintan's, in the electoral district of St. George's-Humber, in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, abutted and bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point being the south most corner of the within described parcel, west of the Trans Canada Highway, having coordinates of east 284 071 metres and north 5 334 386 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 282 731 metres and north 5 334 993 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an irregular northerly direction to a point having coordinates of east 282 518 metres and north 5 336 956 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 283 237 metres and north 5 336 734 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 283 738 metres and north 5 336 136 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 283 563 metres and north 5 335 944 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point west of the Trans Canada Highway having coordinates of east 284 419 metres and north 5 334 777 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwest direction, along the Trans Canada Highway, back to the point of commencement.

The above described piece or parcel of land containing approximately 250 hectares, more or less, as depicted in the Provincial Land Use Atlas.

The above described parcel is subject to all reservations, easements, rights-of-way as necessary and those required by law, conditions held in original Crown titles and all rights and privileges held in lands lawfully alienated from the Crown.

All that piece or parcel of land situated near Cormack, in the electoral district of Humber-Gros Morne, in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, abutted and bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point being the south most corner of the within described parcel, east of Route 430, having coordinates of east 198 828 metres and north 5 453 800 metres, more or less;

Then heading north along Route 430 to a point having coordinates of east 198 324 metres and north 5 456 687 metres, more or less;

Then heading east to a point having coordinates of east 198 553 metres and north 5 456 675 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 199 595 metres and north 5 458 737 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an easterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 200 775 metres and north 5 458 256 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 199 345 metres and north 5 455 301 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 199 458 metres and north 5 454 763 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 297 797 metres and north 5 462 031 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 298 606 metres and north 5 462 591 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 299 229 metres and north 5 461 844 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 299 913 metres and north 5 462 591 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 300 754 metres and north 5 461 844 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction partially along the shoreline of Sops Lake to a point having coordinates of east 316 121 metres and north 5 474 462 metres, more or less;

Then heading south to a point having coordinates of east 316 095 metres and north 5 473 695 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 316 638 metres and north 5 473 381 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 316 420 metres and north 5 473 236 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 315 888 metres and north 5 473 455 metres, more or less;

Then heading north following Route 330 to a point having coordinates of east 197 400 metres and north 5 458 477 metres, more or less;

Then crossing Route 330 and heading in southwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 197 015 metres and north 5 458 334 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an irregular northeast direction crossing and continuing on to a point on the east side of Route 330 having coordinates of east 200 107 metres and north 5 464 365 metres, more or less;

Then following Route 330 in a northeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 200 563 metres and north 5 464 885 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeast direction to a point on the west bank of Fourth Pond having coordinates of east 204 875 metres and north 5 460 112 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southwest direction back to the point of commencement.

Then heading in a southwest direction to a point having coordinates of east 394 456 metres and north 5 427 065 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an irregular southwest direction crossing the Trans Canada Highway to a point having coordinates of east 392 684 metres and north 5 424 944 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwest direction crossing the Trans Canada Highway to a point having coordinates of east 392 393 metres and north 5 426 380 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an irregular northeast direction crossing the Trans Canada Highway to a point having coordinates of east 392 727 metres and north 5 426 704 metres, more or less;

Then heading in an irregular southeast direction to a point having coordinates of east 393 121 metres and north 5 426 148 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeast direction to a point on the southwest bank of an unnamed pond having coordinates of east 394 717 metres and north 5 427 936 metres, more or less;

Then heading east following the southern bank of that pond back to the point of commencement.
