Polar Bear Hunting Order, Labrador
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 39 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

ORDER

        4.   Bears with transmitters, etc.

        6.   Repeal


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Polar Bear Hunting Order, Labrador.

Shooting only

        2. Polar bears shall only be taken by shooting.

Bears in den

        3. Polar bears shall not be taken in a den and active dens shall not be disturbed in any way.

Bears with transmitters, etc.

        4. Polar bears equipped with radio transmitters or collars shall not be taken.

Bag limit

        5. The bag limit shall be one polar bear of either sex per licence except that female polar bears accompanied by cubs, young of the year, shall not be taken.

Repeal

        6. The Open Season Big Game Polar Bear Hunting Order, Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 26/07 is repealed.
