Wolf Hunting Order, Newfoundland and Labrador
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 15 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Wolf Hunting Order, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Definition

        2. In this Order, "licence" means a licence issued under section 15 of the Wild Life Regulations.

Devices permitted

        3. A person shall only shoot a wolf under a licence using

             (a)  a centre-fire rifle not greater than .225 calibre; or

             (b)  a shotgun using shot size 2 or larger.

Bag limit

        4. The bag limit shall be one wolf per licence.
