Regulations (Filed April 11, 2019) Under the authority of section 108 of the Children, Youth and Families Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations. regulations may be cited as the Indigenous Government or Organization
Delegation Regulations. Definition 2. In these regulations, "Act" means the Children, Youth and Families Act. Authority to negotiate agreement 3. The minister may negotiate an agreement with an Indigenous government or organization under section 105 of the Act where the Indigenous government or organization submits to the minister (a) a request in writing; and (b) proof satisfactory to the minister that the Indigenous government or organization has, by motion or resolution, authorization from its Indigenous community to enter into an agreement for the provision of services or the administration of all or part of the Act. Commencement 4. These regulations come into force on the date the Act comes into force. ©Queen's Printer |
