Under the authority of section 97 of the Forestry Act, I make the following Order.

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Forest Fire Season Order, 2022.

Forest fire season

2. The forest fire season for 2022 shall be

(a) between the hours of midnight on May 1, 2022 and midnight on September 30, 2022 on the island portion of the province; and

(b) between the hours of midnight on May 15, 2022 and midnight on September 30, 2022 on the Labrador portion of the province.
