Forest Fire Ban Proclamation, 2022

Forestry Act

Under the authority of section 99 of the Forestry Act, I proclaim a fire ban in all areas of the province.

Fire ban

1. The fire ban prohibits the setting of fires on forest land or within 300 metres of forest land in all areas of the province.

Duration of ban

2. The fire ban shall remain in force until 12:01 a.m. August 17, 2022.
