Endangered Species List Regulations (Amendment)

Endangered Species Act

Under the authority of sections 7 and 44 of the Endangered Species Act, the Minister of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following regulations.

        1. Schedule B of the Endangered Species List Regulations is amended by deleting the species "American Marten (Island of Newfoundland Population) – Martes americana atrata".

 

        2. Schedule C of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  adding immediately after the species "American Eel – Anguilla rostrata" the species "American Marten (Island of Newfoundland Population) – Martes americana atrata"; and

             (b)  adding immediately after the species "Common Nighthawk - Chordeiles minor" the species "Dense Draba – Draba pycnosperma".
