General Election Deferral Order
under the
Municipal Elections Act

Under the authority of subsection 5(3) of the Municipal Elections Act, I make the following Order.

1. This order may be cited as the General Election Deferral Order.

2. Notwithstanding subsection 5(2) of the Municipal Elections Act, it is ordered that the 2025 general election for all cities, towns and local service districts in the province be deferred to October 2, 2025.
