Open Seasons Hunting and Trapping Order, 2024-2025 (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 38, 39 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

Black bear – Newfoundland

1. (1) Subsection 7(1) of the Open Seasons Hunting and Trapping Order, 2024-2025 is repealed and the following substituted:

Black bear – Newfoundland

7. (1) In this section, "black bear management area" means the black bear management areas described in the Schedule to the Black Bear Hunting and Trapping Order, Newfoundland and Labrador.

(2) Subsection 7(2) of the Order is amended by deleting the word "moose" and substituting the words "black bear".

(3) Subsection 7(3) of the Order is repealed.

(4) Subsection 7(4) of the Order is amended by deleting the word "moose" and substituting the words "black bear".

(5) Subsection 7(5) of the Order is repealed.

(6) Subsection 7(6) of the Order is repealed.
