North River Municipal Planning Area, 2025

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000, I define the following area as the North River Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the centre line of the Conception Bay Highway having coordinates east 283,478.581 metres and north 5,267,928.340 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northwesterly direction along the centre line of the Conception Bay Highway to a point having coordinates east 283,214.052 metres and north 5,268,341.356 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northeasterly direction along a line parallel to and 50 metres from the centre line of that road to a point being east 284,251.506 metres and north 5,269,350.027 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point having coordinates east 284,235.966 metres and north 5,269,369.860 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point having coordinates east 284,081.738 metres and north 5,269,577.334 metres, more or less;

All coordinates being scaled from 55cm Orthorectified Imagery and being referenced to North America Datum 1983 (NAD1983) using the Modified Transverse Mercator (MTM) Zone 1 Projection.

The North River Municipal Planning Area, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 893/96, is repealed.
