Open Seasons Hunting and Trapping Order, 2025-2026 (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 16, 25, 38, 39, 73, 81.2 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

        1.   S.7 Amdt.

        1. Subsection 7(2) of the Open Seasons Hunting and Trapping Order, 2025-2026 is amended by deleting the date "November 9, 2025" and substituting the date "November 30, 2025".

 

        2. (1) Subsection 9(2) of the Order is repealed and the following substituted:

             (2)  The open season for the shooting of caribou on the Island of Newfoundland in the following caribou management areas shall be:

             (2)  Subsection 9(3) of the Order is amended by deleting the numbers "70, 71A, 71B and 72" and substituting the numbers "70, 71, 72 and 80".

        3. (1) Paragraph 14(2)(a) of the Order is amended by deleting the date "December 21, 2025" and substituting the date "December 28, 2025".

             (2)  Subsection 14(4) of the Order is amended by deleting the date "December 21, 2025" and substituting the date "December 28, 2025".

             (3)  Paragraph 14(5)(a) of the Order is amended by deleting the date "December 21, 2025" and substituting the date "December 28, 2025".

             (4)  Paragraph 14(6)(a) of the Order is amended by deleting the date "December 21, 2025" and substituting the date "December 28, 2025".

             (5)  Subsection 14(7) of the Order is amended by adding immediately after the word "except" the words and comma "Bell Island in Conception Bay,".

             (6)  Subsection 14(8) of the Order is amended by adding immediately after the word "except" the words and comma "Bell Island in Conception Bay,".
