Under the authority of section 14 of the Victims of Crime Services Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

Short title

1. These regulations may be cited as the Victim Impact Statement Regulations.

Victim impact statement program

2. The Victim Impact Statement Program of the Adult Corrections Division of the Department of Justice is designated as the program for the preparation of victim impact statements for the purposes of paragraph 735(1.2)(a) of the Criminal Code.

3. The Victim Impact Statement Regulations, Newfoundland Regulation 88/90, are repealed.
