Local Service District of Aspen Cove
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96‑170)

Under the authority of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

District continued

        1. The area comprising the community of Aspen Cove is continued as a local service district by the name of the Local Service District of Aspen Cove.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries for the local service district are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 10/84 and 146/85 are repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point, a highwater mark on the shoreline of Hamilton Sound, that point having co‑ordinates 078824;

Then due south 50 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being on the centre line of the road from Aspen Cove to Rocky Point;

Then south 75° east a distance of 3,900 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the southern extremity of an unnamed pond;

Then north 56° east a distance of 950 metres to a point on the centre line of the access road to Aspen Cove and being also 500 metres from the intersection of the access road and the road connecting Aspen Cove and Ladle Cove;

Then north 86° east a distance of 900 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the northern extremity of an unnamed pond;

Then north 37° west a distance of 800 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the centre line of the road connecting Aspen Cove and Ladle Cove;

Then due west a distance of 50 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being a highwater mark on the shoreline of Hamilton Sound;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north.
