Community of Baytona Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96‑170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Baytona Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Baytona are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 661/78 and 93/85 are repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point at the mouth of Bottom Brook where that brook empties into Birchy Bay;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the western bank of Bottom Brook to a point in the northern limit of the road reservation of Route No. 340;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the northern limit of the road reservation of Route No. 340 a distance of 3,200 metres, more or less;

Then running north 45° west a distance of 150 metres, more or less, to a point in the eastern shoreline of Loon Bay;

Then running in a generally northerly direction along that shoreline to Loon Bay Point;

Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the western shoreline of Birchy Bay to Morris Point;

Then continuing along the western shoreline of Birchy Bay in a generally southerly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings herein refer to the true meridian and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
