Local Service District of Black Duck
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96‑170)

Under the authority of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

District continued

        1. The area comprising the community of Black Duck is continued as a local service district by the name of the Local Service District of Black Duck.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries for the local service district are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 175/84 and 203/87 are repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being located on the northernmost shoreline of Mistaken Pond and having a military grid reference of 989839;

Then south 36° east a distance of 6,000 metres, more or less;

Then due west a distance of 6,200 metres, more or less, to a point on the western limit of the right‑of‑way of Route 460;

Then due north a distance of 4,900 metres, more or less;

Then due east a distance of 2,700 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
