Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1996 CONSOLIDATED Community
of Cape St. George Order Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Cape St. George Order. Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Community of Cape St. George are as set out in the Schedule. Repeal 3. Newfoundland Regulations 616/78, 135/87 and 158/95 are repealed. Schedule Beginning at a point at the highwater
mark on the westernmost tip of the Port au Then in a generally northeasterly
direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Then north 22° 30' west a distance of 1,700 metres, more or less; Then south 67° 30' west a distance of 11,600 metres, more or less, to a point on the highwater mark on the shoreline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence; Then in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline a distance of 1,780 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.
