Community of Conche Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96‑170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Conche Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Conche are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 621/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point at the highwater mark in the northernmost angle of Bear Cove on the western shoreline of Conche Harbour;

Then running due north a distance of 1,225 metres, more or less;

Then running north 54° east a distance of 1,950 metres, more or less, to a point at the highwater mark in Priest Cove on the western shoreline of Cape Rouge Harbour;

Then running south along the sinuosities of the shoreline of Crouse Harbour and then northeast along the shoreline to Frauderesse Point;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of the Conche Peninsula to Cape Fox;

Then running north along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of the Conche Peninsula, by way of Chest Head, Silver Cove, Latin Point, and Martinique Bay to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
