Community of Ferryland Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Ferryland Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Ferryland are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 645/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at North Head at the northern entrance of Aquaforte Harbour and then running north 47° west 5,275 metres, more to less, to a point in the centre line of the abandoned railway right‑of‑way;

Then running north 76° east 4,420 metres, more or less, to the southern shoreline of Calvert Harbour at the western entrance to Lance Cove;

Then following the shoreline via Scoggins Head, Coldeast Point, Ferryland Harbour and the peninsula of Ferryland Head to the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
