Town of Fogo Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Fogo Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Fogo are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 641/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at Long Point and running 2,600 metres, more or less, to the eastern sideline of Fogo Highway, and then 1,200 metres northward along the western side of a road along Freemans Pond;

Then, on a bearing of alignment with the lighthouse on Rags Island, running 1,500 metres, more or less, to the shoreline of Shoal Arm, and then westwardly along the shoreline to Pilly Point;

Then following the shoreline of Fogo Harbour, Fogo Head, Cyphers Head, Back Cove, Brimstone Head, Seal Cove, back to Long Point;

And including all islands within 800 metres of the shoreline thereof.
