Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 1996 CONSOLIDATED Community
of Gillams Order Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order. ORDER Analysis 1. Short title 2. Boundaries 3. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Gillams Order. Boundaries 2. The boundaries of the Community of Gillams are as set out in the Schedule. Repeal 3. Schedule Beginning at a point, that point being on the highwater mark of the southern shoreline of Apsey Cove on the Humber Arm; Then north 76° 00' east a distance of 1,625 metres, more or less, to the summit (elevation 229 metres) of an unnamed hill; Then south 41° 30' east a distance of 2,075 metres, more or less, to the northern bank of Gillams Brook; Then following the brook in a generally easterly direction a distance of 1,725 metres, more or less, to a point due north of a small hill; Then due south a distance of 400 metres, more or less, to the summit of the hill; Then south 32° 00' west a distance of 1,700 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the summit (elevation 183 metres) of an unnamed hill; Then south 52° 30' west a distance of 1,375 metres, more or less, to the highwater mark on the shoreline of the Humber Arm; Then in a generally northwesterly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline to the point of commencement.
