Community of Grand Le Pierre Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Grand Le Pierre Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Grand Le Pierre are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 664/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at the point of highest elevation of Dunns Mountain and then running south 20,875 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern shoreline of Fortune Bay;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point at the eastern entrance to Grand Le Pierre;

Then running along the shorelines of the harbour of Grand Le Pierre to a point at the western entrance to Grand Le Pierre;

Then following the sinuosities of the northern shoreline of Fortune Bay to a point at the mouth of a small brook which empties into the northwest angle of Pays Cove;

Then running north 15° west 15,700 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern bank of Southwest Brook;

Then running north 7,325 metres, more or less;

Then running east 9,900 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
