Town of Gaultois Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Gaultois Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Gaultois are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 652/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point at the tip of land referred to as Fox Burrow Point located on the southern shore of Long Island;

Then running north 20° west 1,700 metres;

Then running north 23° 30' east 1,825 metres;

Then running south 46° east 1,500 metres;

Then running due south 600 metres, more or less, to The Bottom of Gaultois Harbour;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the shoreline of Hermitage Bay to Deepwater Point;

Then running in a westerly direction along the shoreline to the point of commencement.

All bearings are referred to the true meridian.
