Town of Heart's Delight - Islington Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Heart's Delight ‑ Islington Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Heart's Delight ‑ Islington are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 884/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point in the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay, that point being locally known as Green Point;

Then running east a distance of 4,575 metres, more or less;

Then running south a distance of 5,325 metres, more or less;

Then running west a distance of 7,475 metres, more or less, to Long Point on the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay by way of Islington and Heart's Delight to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
