Town of Heart's Desire Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Heart's Desire Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Heart's Desire are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 46/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point in the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay, that point being locally known as Green Point;

Then running east a distance of 4,575 metres, more or less;

Then running north 57° east a distance of 2,125 metres, more or less, to a point being the northern extremity of Hanging Hill Pond;

Then in a generally northwesterly direction a distance of 5,975 metres, more or less, to the point where the small brook flowing from Freshwater Pond intersects the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Trinity Bay to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
