Town of Lamaline Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Lamaline Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Lamaline are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 707/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at Flagstaff Point and running north 48° east a distance of 1,800 metres, more or less, to the summit of Piercey Hill;

Then running northeastward a distance of 14,100 metres, more or less, to the summit of Salmonier Hill;

Then running southeastward a distance of 6,200 metres, more or less;

Then due west a distance of 2,550 metres, more or less, to Three Hummocks;

Then running southwestward a distance of 5,450 metres, more or less, to a point on the northern reservation of Route 220 over a stream that flows into Nantes Cove;

Then following the northern limit of Route 220 in a generally westerly direction to the western bank of Salmonier River;

Then following the bank of the river to and then along the shoreline via Grave Point, Lamaline Harbour, Allan's Island and Piercey Point to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
