Town of LaScie Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of LaScie Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of LaScie are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 708/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the most northern point in the shoreline of Hill Graplin Head and then running south 6,400 metres, more or less;

Then running north 65° east 2,750 metres, more or less;

Then running south 25° east 1,525 metres, more or less;

Then running north 65° east 2,750 metres, more or less;

Then running north 25° west 1,525 metres, more or less;

Then running along the district line north 65° east 1,525 metres, more or less;

Then running north 4,725 metres, more or less, to a point in the shoreline at the extreme eastern entrance to Reddits Cove;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline via Reddit's Cove and Reddit's Point to Sleepy Point;

Then running along the shorelines of the harbour of LaScie and continuing in a generally northwesterly direction via White Cove to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
