Town of Little Catalina Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Little Catalina Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Little Catalina are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 713/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the northernmost angle of Lookout Long Pond;

Then running north 31° west 1,900 metres, more or less;

Then running north 60° east 2,900 metres, more or less;

Then due east a distance of 1,750 metres, more or less;

Then running south 11° east 2,950 metres, more or less, to a point at highwater mark on the northern shoreline of Trinity Bay;

Then running along the shoreline at highwater mark in a generally southwesterly direction to Cuckold Head;

Then running along the shoreline of Little Catalina Harbour and then running north 82° west 950 metres, more or less, to Nolan Pond;

Then running north 82° west 1,550 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
