Town of Norman's Cove - Long Cove Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Norman's Cove ‑ Long Cove Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Norman's Cove ‑ Long Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 748/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point at the highwater mark where Colliers Bay Brook empties into Colliers Bay;

Then following the western bank of Colliers Bay Brook in a southwesterly direction to Route 201;

Then due south 2,000 metres, more or less, to the junction of a brook flowing out of John Newhook's Pond and Colliers Bay Brook;

Then south 49° 00' east 1,550 metres, more or less, to Murphy's Cove Brook;

Then south 87° 00' east 2,600 metres, more or less, to the western shoreline of Chapel Arm;

Then in a northwesterly direction following the highwater shoreline to the point of commencement.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
