Community of Pilley's Island Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

        1.   Short title

        2.   Boundaries

        3.   Repeal

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Pilley's Island Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Pilley's Island are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 772/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point being the intersection of the southern shoreline of Pilley's Island with the eastern face of Flat Rock Tickle Causeway and then running in a generally northerly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Pilley's Island to Randall Point;

Then running in a westerly direction along the sinuosities of the northern shoreline of Pilley's Island to Long Tickle Point;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of Pilley's Island to Kelly Head;

Then running in an easterly direction along the southern shoreline of Pilley's Island to the point of beginning.
