Community of Plate Cove West Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Plate Cove West Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Plate Cove West are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 774/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the mouth of Path End Brook on the eastern shoreline of Plate Cove and then running south 45° east 1,600 metres, more or less;

Then running south 35° west 2,150 metres, more or less, to the top of Powder Cove Hill;

Then running south 38° west 975 metres, more or less, to the most southern point of Western Pond;

Then running north 38° west 1,100 metres, more or less;

Then running due west 1,125 metres, more or less, to the eastern shoreline of Southern Bay;

Then following the eastern shoreline of Southern Bay to Plate Cove Head;

Then following the shoreline of Plate Cove to the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
