Community of Port Anson Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Port Anson Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Port Anson are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 780/78 and 224/90 are repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point on the northwest shoreline of Sunday Cove Island, that point being the highwater mark on the western shoreline where an unnamed brook enters Hall's Bay;

Then south 30° east a distance of 2,450 metres, more or less, to a point on the highwater mark of the southern shoreline of Sunday Cove Island;

Then in a generally westerly and easterly direction along the highwater mark and following the sinuosities of the shoreline along Sunday Cove, Lobster Harbour, Sunday Cove Tickle, Mooring Cove, Hall's Bay and China Head to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north.
