Community of Port au Bras Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Port au Bras Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Port au Bras are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 781/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at Bras Point and following the coastline by way of Port au Bras to Whitepatch at UTM grid co-ordinate 640 460 metres east, 5 212 110 metres north;

Then running north 43° west 800 metres, more or less;

Then running north 41° east 2,450 metres, more or less;

Then running south 78° 30' east 1,950 metres, more or less;

Then following the coastline by way of Western Head and Gripe Cove to Bras Point, the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 Map 1 M/3, edition 3, 1988.
