Town of Peterview Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Peterview Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Peterview are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 758/78 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at a point near the mouth of Peters River and then running along the centre line of an abandoned section of highroad to its point of intersection with the centre line of the main highroad leading to Peterview;

Then running south 37° east 4,350 metres, more or less, to a point at the highwater mark on the northern shoreline of the Exploits River;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the northern shoreline to the tip of Wigwam Point;

Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the western shoreline of the Bay of Exploits to Little Peter Point;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the southern shoreline of Peters Arm to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
