Community of Reidville Order
under the
Municipalities Act

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Community of Reidville Order.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Community of Reidville are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 795/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the northern face of the west abutment of the bridge spanning the Upper Humber River and then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the western bank of that river to a point known locally as Patty's Reef;

Then running west a distance of 6,250 metres, more or less, to a point;

Then running along the boundary south 41° 50' west a distance of 12,950 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern limit of the road right‑of‑way of the Great Northern Peninsula Highway;

Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the northern limit of the road right‑of‑way of the highway to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
